Merry Merry Christmas.

As we are about to make the leap from a family of 2 to a family of 3 we want to wish you all a wonderful, wonderful holiday season and the merriest Christmas!! We didn't invest in a Christmas card/picture this season since we will be sending out baby announcements very very soon.

SO, MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE WATFORD FAMILY

We were very blessed to get to spend Christmas Eve with Matthew's family and my wonderful family came down on Christmas day to celebrate! I know it wasn't ideal for the CamMan to be heading our way the day after Christmas but that's how it goes!

39 Weeks.

How far along? 39 weeks... it's baby time folks. Cameron is coming tomorrow :)

Maternity clothes? Yes yes yes. Excited to start working out and getting back into some regular clothes!

Stretch marks? Same same.

Sleep? Well that's a joke right?! I wake up everytime I have even the slightest contraction and when I roll over... what a nightmare! I'm so ready for a change- even the waking up in the middle of the night to take care of my baby kinda change!

Best moment last week? Preparing for Cameron! I did some deep down cleaning and have everything ready for our homecoming as a family of three :) It really still feels surreal!

Movement? Yes, not as much since he is getting squished up in there... still some pretty sharp movements though!

Food cravings? Anything, everything. Haha. The whole "you lose room in your stomach, so you can't eat as much" thing didn't happen to me!

Gender? BOY!

Labor signs? Been feeling some contractions... nothing severe but definitely more than I had been feeling... hoping that I'm progressing some. Some back pain, not much though.

Belly button in/out? Oh, out out out.

Missing? Comfort. But so worth it for our little Cameron!

Looking forward to? MEETING CAMERON!!!!!!!!!!! We go in tomorrow morning at 6 am, hopefully they will get the ball rolling and maybe we will have our bundle of joy by the afternoon :) (Who knows thoughhhh) So excited!!

So thats it for my bump updates :) Hopefully an introduction to Cameron Martin coming soon!
Oh yes, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

38 Weeks.

How far along? 38 weeks... it's crunch time people! Cameron could decide to come anytime!!

Maternity clothes? This question is silly at this point! Of course I'm in maternity clothes. Although my favorite is still pj's!

Stretch marks? No new ones, thank goodness!!

Sleep? It's improved a little the past few nights. I still can't go to sleep til around 1 am, but I seem to get better quality sleep. Still waking up a lot using the restroom! But really no complaints... I feel like I'm getting ready for what's to come :)

Best moment last week? Just making it through :) It's all good at this point... just knowing sweet baby boy will be here soonish is amazing and encouraging. I'm so ready.

Movement? Oh yes. He just loves to stick out an elbow or knee right at my belly button. Me and Matthew are still so intrigued by it!

Food cravings? Chocolate milk. YUM. all. the. time.

Gender? Cameron! My baby boy!

Labor signs? Went to my 38 week appointment this morning... I've progressed to 2 centimeters dilated and 70% effaced! (And if you like the gritty details... I've lost my mucus plug!) We decided to discuss with Doctor Mckenzie about if being induced next week would be a wise decision, or even a possibility. He said my cervix is actually very favorable and after I've hit the 39 week point he is fine with inducing (We felt we needed to discuss and think about an induction a little early due to Matthew's work schedule. Had we waited til say our due date the 31st, Matthew would only be able to be off on that Monday and Tuesday and then be completely loaded at work the rest of the week. I really was getting stressed about thinking of doing a lot of this by myself. So after having a good report of continuing to progress and the doctor saying that I would probably react to an induction exactly as if I went into labor on my own- We have scheduled an induction for Dec. 27th at 6:30 am! I'm so excited to think that sometime in the next 10 days our baby boy will be here :) It really is a wonderful feeling! Of course we are continuing to pray and hope that he will decide to come on his own before the 27th!)

Belly button in/out? Out or flat sometimes... depends on the moment!

Missing? The ease of rolling over in bed- it's the little things folks!

Looking forward to? Meeting our baby boy! Could this possibly be my last bump update!? Probably not but a girl can continue to dream!

Milestones? I will continue to say making it this far!

*UPDATE*
My doctors office called this morning and asked if I would be okay having my baby a day early. Umm, yes. So, I'm now scheduled to be induced on December 26th at 6:30 am. :)

37 Weeks.

How far along? 37 weeks!! Officially considered full term!

Maternity clothes? Yes, yes. I've finally broken out Katherine's gaucho pants (they aren't maternity but sure are comfy). They are super stretchy and wonderful to relax around the house in!

Stretch marks? No new ones thankfully!

Sleep? Sleep?? haha that's too funny. I feel tired around 9 pm and then when I climb in bed I'm wide awake till around 1 am. Pinterest on the ipad has become my favorite go to thing! I'm so thankful that I can sleep in a little more now though since I'm done working!

Best moment last week? Just being in the last month is excitement enough :) I really can't believe that Cameron will be here SO soon. Also Mammaw finished the pillows for Cameron's nursery... just a few more things and it will be complete!

Movement? YES! I just love to feel him moving around and especially love when like a foot or elbow jab me. That's when I reallllly feel like that's my Cameron in there!

Food cravings? Sweets, of course!! Skittles and sour candies sound yummy!

Gender? baby boy :)

Labor signs? Still having Braxton Hicks- they feel a little different these days but nothing consistent or painful. At the doctor on Monday I was one centimeter dilated and 50% effaced! It's progress!!

Belly button in/out? Out!!

Missing? My skinnier self... I'm at that point where I'm ready ready ready to get back to wearing my normal clothes and feeling normal :)

Looking forward to? Baby boys arrival. Doctor said it could be any day (I know typically it's not til lateeeee, but a girl can dream!) I need to finish packing and install the carseat. Cameron's bag is done and mine is a work in progress!!

Milestones? Continuing to progress! Making it to full term! Baby boy is safe to come any day now!

A SS Baby Shower.

Well hello there Cameron!
My wonderful Sunday School class threw me and Matthew a wonderful shower last week! We are so blessed to be surrounded by some of the sweetest couples! The Ciza's graciously opened their home and we all piled in for some yummy food and fun gifts! I think it's so fun to have Matthew at showers with me! I'd really prefer all the focus to NOT be on me! :)

Our classmates were so sweet and hooked us up with some fun stuff and diapers and wipes! I go in Cameron's room these days and just think about how incredibly loved and blessed our little guy is already!

We actually did a good job and got some good pictures of the group! Love each and everyone of these people!

Can you believe we are 3 1/2 weeks away from d-day!! ahhhhh!!! Excitement!!

36 Weeks.

How far along? 36 weeks. We are down to the last month people!!

Maternity clothes? That's all I'm doing these days. Really am excited about losing the weight after and going shopping!!

Stretch marks? No new ones that I have noticed!

Sleep? Little bit of everything. One night I will wake up 5 times to use the restroom and the next only once. Just depends on how hard I'm sleeping I guess!

Best moment last week? Having my last day at work (it was slightly bittersweet, but mostly sweet!) Also, our Sunday School class had a sweet baby shower for us on Sunday night!

Movement? Oh yes just jabbing and jiving away! I love to just sit and watch my belly move :)

Food cravings? Still turkey sandwiches! And sour straws!

Gender? BOY!

Labor signs? Braxton Hicks and today I had my 36 week appointment and am 1/2 cm dilated and 40% effaced :) I know it's not much but it's progress!!

Belly button in/out? out!

Missing? Cute clothes!!

Looking forward to? My next appointment and hopefully continuing to progress!

Milestones? Helllllllo, we have made it to the last month folks! Wowzers! I can't even believe it!

35 Weeks.

How far along? 35 weeks! What?!?

Maternity clothes? Oh yes, the most comfy thing is pjs and a big tshirt though!

Stretch marks? Same ole, same ole.

Sleep? Wellll, not so wonderful. Unfortunately I'm waking up multiple times at night to use the restroom and I feel wide awake, then I get back to sleep to only wake up and use the restroom again! I feel like he must have "dropped" since my bladder is like the size of a quarter!!!! But I really don't know, it could just be how he is positioned.

Best moment last week? Family time up in Tennessee for Thanksgiving! It was wonderful having everyone together and spending some time with cute lil Tucker! Cameron can't wait to play with him!

Movement? I feel like he is just rolling around in there now, less pokes and jabs.

Food cravings? Turkey sandwiches! Sweets!

Gender? Sweet baby boy Cameron.

Labor signs? Braxton Hicks- seems like a lot some days.

Belly button in/out? Standing it looks out, but if I'm just lounging and sitting it just seems stretched and flat!

Missing? Not too much!

Looking forward to? My last day of work is Friday! I'm super ecstatic, but it's also a strange feeling. It's always somewhat unnerving when you close and open another chapter in your life. I feel like life is just flying by and I can hardly keep up. I'm very excited for Cameron to come, but honestly can't believe it is SO so soon. Also excited to start my one week appointments on Monday!!

Milestones? Making it to 35 weeks. Seriously can't believe that come Saturday it will be our due date month... So soon!!

A MIT Baby Shower.

Another surprise shower?! All these people around me are so stinkin' sweet!
A few Wednesday nights ago I went to the church for MIT with my 2nd graders like normal. Well I showed up and they had everything all decorated cute for a baby shower. Geez, they are the best.

I was so surprised and feel so loved! They are a great group of girls who love Cameron so much already! I'm blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people! My coleaders, Jill and Holli, planned it all- can't thank them enough! I will be sad to have my last week with them next Wednesday (since I'm taking the semester off to get Cameron acclimated to life outside the womb!).

Thank you sweet, sweet girls :)

34 Weeks.

{Happy Thanksgiving!}

How far along? Thirty four weeks!

Total weight gain? Although my doctor said I'm on the right track, I've decided to opt out of this question from here on out. I kinda hate getting on the scale anyways. I try to be transparent but I'm drawing the line, sorry folks.

Maternity clothes? Yes, always. I keep thinking of these blue corduroy pants from Gap Maternity that I didn't try on. I would really like to go back and atleast see if they fit :) I think with a black top they would be super cute!

Stretch marks? Same as last week. It's no fun.

Sleep? Still difficult, but I have my good nights and my bad nights. Back and hips hurt when I wake up.

Best moment last week? When I went to MIT on Wednesday and my 2nd grade girls and two co-leaders threw me a surprise baby shower!! They had cute decoration and yummy snacks! It was wonderful!

Movement? A ton!! He's head down with his back coming up my right side and his bottom at the top middle, and feet and legs on the right side. SOO, lots of movement in the foot area!

Food cravings? Nothing particular... but I am beyond excited about Thanksgiving and the yummy food this week! I can't get enough pumpkin pie and turkey and gravy! YUM.

Gender? Boy!

Labor signs? Still just some normal Braxton Hicks... even though I know I need to wait several more weeks... I just wish he would hurry up and come already!! haha

Belly button in/out? Outtttt, it's so unfortunate. :)

Missing? Just silly things like having more options of clothing!

Looking forward to? Thanksgiving with the Watford family :)

Milestones? Still not a huge fan of this question. I have felt Cameron have hiccups twice now. It's so funny.

A Birmingham Baby Shower.

So two Sundays ago my WONDERFUL friends Anna, Jeanna, and Meagan threw me and baby CamMan a baby shower.  We are so blessed to have the bestest friends and family loving us through this prebaby phase!

I loved all of the beautiful cute small details and decor they did! So pinterest-esque. You will probably see that wreath again at the hospital and the banner in Cameron's nursery.

We were completely showered with so many great gifts! We got our travel system (stroller and car seat), baby monitor, exer-saucer and tons of other fun things! The gift from Katherine and Caroline was  to make Cameron "month onesies" to take his monthly picture in! I'm so excited about that one!

{Shopping cart/high chair cover!}
{Tatum wanted to steal some of Cameron's fun gifts!}
{Jeanna, my BFF pharmacist to-be, gave me some baby meds with how-to's... Yes I will desperately need those!}
I was extremely blessed by everyone that took time out of their day to come celebrate with me :) I love each and every one of you SO much!
{Me and my Momma!}
{Lovely hostesses! Love yall!}
{Watford Fam}

{Love my Shades girls!}

And did I mention the stinkin' amazing diaper cake Meagan made and the hostesses gave me? Well it's adorable. Of course I didn't want to take it apart... because it's super cute... but I was assured that there were plenty of fun surprises in there to discover and find! Yes, wash cloths, bibs, baby shampoos, toys, a mommy hook, an outfit, and not to mention lots of diapers!!

So if I didn't get this across to you yet... This shower was amazing and I am truly truly blessed. Although this world seems cold and scary to bring a little baby boy into, I'm reassured to know that all these people will have my back and support, advise, and pray for our family. See, completely blessed.

33 Weeks.

How far along? 33 weeks. Every week were getting closer and I just cant believe it. Trying to save most of my to-do's for when I'm done with work!

Total weight gain? Around 24 pounds. My body is not use to this. I've been having some serious back issues. Every day by about 2:30 I'm done for. It's not my lower back so that's kind of strange.

Maternity clothes? Oh yes. With the exception of a few tops, my black yoga pants and cardigans! My rings are no longer fitting. My rings Matthew gave me for our anniversary do fit though. Yay!

Stretch marks? Same as last week :( I guess I'm one of thoseeee. boo

Sleep? Somewhat horrible. Lots of waking up to use the restroom then feeling wide awake after that. But oddly enough not feeling so exhausted come 10 pm these days.

Best moment last week? Going up to Tennessee to meet Tucker Brandon Odom (Cameron's cousin!) Meaghan had him on Wednesday and we got to go visit on Saturday! He is so precious and Cameron gave him some kicks while I was holding him! Can't wait to see the two of them together!

Movement? LOTS of sharp love kicks all the time.

Food cravings? Sandwiches... mostly turkey. Panera and Subway are the best!

Gender? My sweet baby BOY Cameron!

Labor signs? No changes! I just cant believe in a few short weeks {Dec 3rd} my doctor will start checking me for progress!! ahh! That's crazy!

Belly button in/out? OUT! You can see it no matter what I'm wearing.

Missing? My good back. I'm not really used to having any back issues so this is a whole new ball game for me. I'm not enjoying it or tolerating it very well :)

Looking forward to? {Well enjoyed a day off of work today!} Looking forward to working on the nursery this Saturday FOR REAL. We thought about going away for a night but I decided I would rather work on the nursery. Spray paint some shelves, get them hung etc etc.

Milestones? I really do not like this question. Nothing significant has really happened...

*Nursery update. Our new dresser came in (since the other one was broken!) Our rocker came in too... but it was the complete wrong color. Kind of like aqua. So I had to pick another color and now we wait again!!!

MEET TUCKER BRANDON ODOM:

We are so excited for Meaghan and Brandon! They have a precious little boy to take care of :)

32 Weeks.

Wowzers, how things have changed!!

How far along? 32 weeks. (11/5)

Total weight gain? Around 22 lbs, but I am happy to report that my doctor said that he was VERY pleased with it. Yay, makes me feel much better!

Maternity clothes? All the time. Can I just stay in my pjs and a comfy shirt please?!

Stretch marks? Still the same few :( Still slightly upset about it!

Sleep? Waking up often!! Just switching from side to side and getting up to use the restroom. And now with this time change I'm ready for bed at like 7 oclock! It's ridiculous!

Best moment last week? My baby shower on Sunday!! My sweet friends Anna, Jeanna, and Meagan were wonderful hostesses and did such a great job! Our CamMan is one blessed little guy. Can't wait to bring him into this world to love on you all :)

Movement? all.the.time. Here lately he is just punchin, pokin, and squirmin' 24/7. I do love it, but it is slightly on the painful side sometimes!

Food cravings? Nothing specific. Trying to keep on eating my fruits and veggies!

Gender? boy!

Labor signs? Still a few braxton hicks.

Belly button in/out? Well I guess I should say that it is officially out. I just looked and oh yes it is out. Goodness, goodness!

Missing? Well I've started swelling slightly. Nothing I can see with my eyes but I've had to quite wearing my wedding rings :( I was dreading this day. My doctor said better to go ahead and take it off rather than let it get too tight. But it still makes me sad. I will be happy to get it back on after Cameron makes his way into the world!

Looking forward to? Hopefully working on the nursery some more this weekend. I want to get the window treatment up! Ready to have it done so I can post a nursery reveal post!!

Milestones? Made it to 32 weeks, and my appointment went great :)

Saturday, November 3, 2012

31 Weeks.

{Obviously this is right before bed and I look tireddd!}
How far along? THIRTY.ONE. weeks. (10/29) When did we get here??

Total weight gain? Too too much, this is my least favorite thing about being pregnant. Around 20 pounds! Ugh!!

Maternity clothes? Well, of course. I tried on some regular jeans just to see and that was funny. Matthew definitely got a kick out of it! I'm in need of a few warm shirts. It's been pretty chilly around these parts!

Stretch marks? I've found a few. Some things you just can't control unfortunately :(

Sleep? This is a sore subject for me. I think about two days ago I thought, wow my sleep has really been going well. I really haven't suffered from insomnia or being uncomfortable or anything for that matter... Well that night that changed. Now I'm basically having hot/cold flashes, waking up sweating to death and then waking up later freezing! I also wake up often. And I'm very paranoid of having good circulation, so I'm trying to sleep on my left side- which I hate. This resulted with a horrible crick in my neck today. I know I will survive though :)

Best moment last week? Can't think of anything specific. But I really am just enjoying carrying my baby boy around and preparing to meet him. It really is surreal to me that it's two months {give or take a little} till we get to meet our CamMan.

Movement? all.the.time. I do LOVE this. And sometimes I'll be dramatic and talk to Cameron about kicking and poking me so hard... but really I love it, every little punch!

Food cravings? Nothing too much. I kind of have had to make myself eat here lately... like I'm hungry but not really. I sometimes am eating just because I know I need to!

Gender? BOY!

Labor signs? A few braxton hicks here and there. Nothing unusual.

Belly button in/out? I'm still calling it a halfie... top is sticking out strong and I get a lot of comments on it, but it's certainly not all the way out!

Missing? My wonderful hardcore sleep.

Looking forward to? Baby shower on Sunday!! My friends are so great for throwing me one {Can't wait to return the favor!}! And excited to see all the fam! Going to the doctor on Monday! Get to finally get back to my doctor now that I have met all the ones in our group!

Milestones? Making it this far?! :) :)

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

30 Weeks.

I'm about ready for this boy to c'mon and get on out! Okayyy, not really, he needs to cook for quite a bit longer but I feel huge and getting slightly uncomfortable. Well 7 weeks till me and the Cameron are term and 10 till we are full term. Can you believe we've made it this far?? Whew, let's do this.

How far along? 30 whole weeks. Wow!

Total weight gain? Around 20 pounds. Yuck.

Maternity clothes? Yes of course. I can still squeeze in my regular black yoga pants and some shirts. Let me emphasize squeeze. Still looking for a dress to wear to my shower in a few weeks!

Stretch marks? Nope. Yay.

Sleep? Sleep is one thing that is going super. I sleep hard and I can sleep long. I wake up once or twice to use the restroom but I go immediately back to sleep.

Best moment last week? Welllll, I don't know if best is the word for it. But we did have our childbirth class this past Saturday. It was longggg and we learned a lot. I find comfort in some things and more nervousness in some others. Overall it was a good experience though, I'm glad to know some more specific details. We also got to take a tour of the hospital {which I love}. Looks so nice and new!

Movement? Lots and lots of movement. Doctor Ross said at my 30 week appointment that Cameron is already head down and hopefully getting settled.

Food cravings? Skittles :) Fruit snacks :) Apples

Gender? Sweet baby boy Cameron

Labor signs? Still some braxton hicks here and there, trying to stay super hydrated though.

Belly button in/out? Half still. The top is such an outie.

Missing? Cuteeee clothes. I want some colored skinnies!

Looking forward to? November 30th... Yes, my wonderful husband is going to be the sole bread winner in our family and I get to have my hearts desires and stay home with our sweet Cameron!! We are so blessed that God has made the provisions for this to all work out! PTL! The 30th is my last day and then I have all of December to nest, Christmas shop, and sleep :)

Milestones? Made it to 30 Weeks, 10 away from our due date!! Lots of progress, here we go!

Dating before baby.

Let's talk dating before baby. Not to say that dating between hubby and I will not continue after Cameron gets here... but let's face it, things are going to be changing a whole lot real soon. I've always thought the idea of babymoons were silly. Now that I'm in the prebaby situation... a babymoon sounds heavenly. It would be wonderful to get away and just have some quality one on one time with my love.

Wellllll, with all that said... a babymoon is not possible for this mommy and daddy to be. So we have taken it upon ourselves to do our best to have fun, enjoy each other, and really cherish every moment before baby Cameron. It's really does take a lot of effort, especially since my hubby is one busy man. He's usually taken two to three nights a week and I claim one more, then there's weekends out of town and everything else.

So, how we do it: one fancy, shmancy date night is a must every month. Besides that it's just being thoughtful for the other on a daily basis and having a few splurges here and there.

{Such as: Surprise candies, late night fast food runs, breakfast dates, Sonic runs}
Speaking of dates. We had our grand October date last Friday night. It was especially a fun one because Matthew planned and it was a surprise for me! Those are the best because you know how much us girls like them to put some thoughtful effort into it :) {He's a good one!}
He took me to a Mexican restaurant I had never been to that he had raved about their salsa- it was delish. Mexican is an easy A+ for me since I've craved it most consistently since being pregnant! Then he took me to Steel City Pops, an organic/natural, freshly made popsicle place in Homewood! This place is VERY popular and I've been wanting to go just for "the experience." And an experience it was. I chose Raspberry Lemon and Hubby had plain 'ole Chocolate. They were yummy though! Then since I'm an old pregnant lady, we headed towards home and stopped to get a redbox on the way. I talked Hubby into watching it on the laptop in bed- my favorite! It was fun fun, and I just love my time with my sweets!

29 Weeks.

How far along? 29 weeks... 1 week till I'm in my thirties?? Not possible, no way. This pregnancy is flying by!!

Total weight gain? 18 lbs. Let me tell you how I feel about that... yuck.

Maternity clothes? Yes, yes. Now on the lookout for something cute to wear to my shower in November. Destination Maternity opens in the Galleria this week so I'm hoping they have some good opening sales!

Stretch marks? Nada!

Sleep? Still going great!! Getting up sometimes twice to use the restroom but still sleeping hard! 10:00 pm is my favorite time of day... but the morning comes too quick!

Best moment last week? Watching Matthew watch Cameron move in my belly. He finally got to see my belly making all sorts of movements and he thought it was SO funny and mentioned that I have an alien in there. I told him Cameron has been extremely active this week and seems to be ready to bust out. I told Cam he's going to have to wait a little bit longer!

Movement? The most yet. It seems to be less "punching and jabbing" and a lot more acrobatics. I think he is just flailing his arms in there and doing somersaults! And I love it, although I did feel my first few painful movements... a little too hard on my ribs! haha

Food cravings? I'm really not enjoying the weight gain so I'm trying to force myself to crave something healthy. This past week I bought some apples to make caramel apples and ended up eating them before I bought caramel. Good healthy choice :)

Gender? Boy.boy.boy. Although my brother Wade predicted a surprise at the birth! ha!

Labor signs? Nothing to report!

Belly button in/out? Still sitting on edge. Pretty flat depending on my position... when standing the top is poking out though!

Missing? Nothing!

Looking forward to? Meeting my baby. Just this week I've been really anxious and ready for December to hurry up and get here!! But I know Cameron needs a lot more time to keep cookin'

Milestones? Nothing really... maybe something next week.

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

28 Weeks.

How far along? 28 weeks. Officially in my third trimester. Ready to get this boy cooked and meet him soon!!

Total weight gain? Around 16 lbs or so.

Maternity clothes? Oh yes. Still using some regular tops and leggings. Dresses are the best though!!

Stretch marks? Nothing yet!!

Sleep? As Matthew would say, I'm sleeping like a rock!! Getting some good quality sleep, but starting to kind of wake up early and feel really awake! I hate that!! 5 oclock in the morning is not a good time to be awake :)

Best moment last week? My amazing family threw me and Matthew a surprise baby shower for Cameron!! Granted, I was the only surprised one... but I felt SO special and am so thankful for all the amazing family in my life :)

Movement? Yes, yes. Although, I still think he's not an "active" child. He gets most wired when I hop in bed at night!!

Food cravings? Anything and everything. I just want to eat... pretty much all the time. Trying to hold back because I would really like to get through this pregnancy without becoming a complete buffalo!

Gender? BOY! Cameron Martin :)

Labor signs? Braxton Hicks here and there. Matthew tells me I've got one solid ab when I'm having them!!

Belly button in/out? I've been told by my sweet SIL that I must now report that it is out! Welllll, I think it's half in, half out. The top is definitely OUT. Ugh!

Missing? Being functional. Haha. It's getting difficult to bend down etc etc. My big belly is getting in the way!

Looking forward to? Meeting my baby boy and becoming a mommy!

Milestones? Had a doctor's appointment last Tuesday and had my blood sugar test. I passed with flying colors and then they sent me to lab for some more blood testing that I will get results for in a few weeks! Seems everything is going well with Cameron and I set up my appointments all the way to December 3rd!! Ahhhh, time is flying by!!

An Auburn Baby Shower.

My family is the absolute best.

I thought this weekend was about celebrating Diane and her 50th birthday, tailgating, and celebrating Elizabeth's 21st birthday. I was right... and wrong.

Sunday after church I was under the impression that we were heading to Cock of the Walk to have lunch and celebrate Elizabeth's birthday with the fam. Like the wholeeee fam, literally the whole Thaxton side and Grandmother and Grandaddy!

Welllll, I was told to "stall" Elizabeth so everyone could get to the restaurant before us {Well played mother}. So me, Matthew, and Liz waltzed in to The Walk and were greeted by a very excited hostess to take us to the table. Then we walked in and I see a banner and immediately think, who made a banner? that's typically my job. Ohhhh goodness, it says Cameron! And here comes the tears.

Everyone was there. The Thaxton side, Grandmother and Grandaddy, The Watfords and Elizabeth M! I am blessed. It was wonderful. Everything was gray and orange and adorable. Lots of chevron and wonderfulness.

I'm completely blown away by the sweetness and effort from everyone who helped plan and made it SO special!!

Not only was the food, decor, and company enough... then comes the gifts. Cameron is one loved little guy. I feel much more prepared to bring him into the world now that I'm set with some essentials :)

So, THANK YOU EVERYONE. It mean's so much to me and Matthew to already feel the love you all have for Cameron!
And a big shout out to Gigi and Pappy for orchestrating it all :) {AND to everyone who contributed and helped!!}
