Cameron: Four Months.

{This is the first month that Cam paid attention to the ball and wanted to hold and eat it!}

Stats: Weight: 12 lbs 11 oz, 5%... Height: 25 in, 50%... Head circumference: 16 in, 25%. He's a healthy happy little guy. We are going to add some feedings to try and get his weight up a little bit.
Size 2 diapers, 3 months clothes.

Firsts: First trip to Florida and the beach, first Easter, first time to giggle, first surprise party for your Aunt Mere, first time in Jordan-Hare for the Aday game & first time rolling Toomer's, first time to mom & dad's favorite restaurant Firebirds!

Milestones: Always wants to stand in your lap rather than sit... strong boy!! Rolling from your belly to your back with no problem- but only when you're in the mood. Holding on to your lovie and toys and taking all of them to your mouth! Giggling! Grabbing your toes all by yourself!

Food & Sleep: For most of your fourth month you were eating every three hours and having a long stretch at least 9 hours overnight. Towards the end you cue'd us to a four hour stretch and you were taking it like a champ. As far as sleep goes, you are still awesome! Still napping for atleast an hour between feedings and usually sleeping 8 hours at night with no interruptions. Here towards the end you've been waking up earlier and earlier. We will see what you do next! (Obviously we are about to change up his eating- pretty much going back to the 3 hour schedule hoping to help him gain a little more weight!)

Our days: The first half of this past month our days were crazy. There was no telling what you would do- I was just holding on for dear life to figure it out :) Well, once I was beginning to, you switched it up again, always keep me guessing. Here more recently you are waking up between 6-7 am to eat and then I put you right back down and you sleep till at least 8:30. After that you are usually still tired so we may hang out in my bed till I feed you around 9. After that we are off to run or run errands or just hanging at the house. You love your play mat and are beginning to enjoy your exersaucer... we are phasing out the swing, you are starting to show little interest for it. You go down for a nap around 11 or so and sleep for maybe 1 1/2 hours. (Although you are going through a phase where 30 minutes in you wake up and either want to be held or cry a while before going back to sleep). I feed you again around 1 pm. And then we are repeat until night time, depending on what we have going on. (A lot of this will change as well since we are eating more!)

Favorites: Mommy & daddy love to hear you giggle!

Nicknames: Cam, CamMan, Little Man, BuggaBoo, Bugga, Baby Boy

You are seriously a happy, wonderful baby. Me and your daddy can't get enough of you! Your smile is just the sweetest little thing! Thanks for smiling when I kiss you- makes me feel special and loved. We enjoy seeing you learn new things and become more interested in the world around you every day! We are excited to continue to introduce you to new things sweet boy. We love you!!

I'm a Christian.

I'm a Christian, shouldn't that be reason enough.

Let's get controversial up in here.
I feel that a lot of secular, unbiblical ideas and methods are seeping into the lives and hearts of Christians- especially young people.
I'm so tired of hearing about tolerance. It feels that we must accept everyone's views and beliefs- but we are constantly attacked about what we believe. I guess that goes along with being the salt and the light. It doesn't help that Christians are tiptoeing the line and even appearing completely wordly.

So, lets break it down.

I don't agree with same sex marriage, I believe in marriage between a man and a woman- because I'm a Christian.

I don't agree with abortion, I believe in the sanctity of life- because I'm a Christian.

I don't agree with divorce, I believe in fighting for your marriage that you pledged to before God- because I'm a Christian.

I don't agree with "the community should raise our children," I believe that our children belong to God but he has given them to parents to love, discipline, protect, and lead- because I'm a Christian.

I don't agree with the "do anything to get ahead" attitude, I believe we are called to do our best but also serve and love those around us- because I'm a Christian.

I don't agree with getting drunk, I believe we are to have a sound mind to make wise decisions and beware of the enemy- because I'm a Christian.

I don't agree with sex before marriage, I believe that God designed sex only for husband and wife- because I'm a Christian.

I don't agree with dressing immodestly, I believe God called women to help their "brothers" to not stumble- because I'm a Christian.

Nothing someone says is going to change what I believe- because I'm a Christian.

I will be the first to tell you that I'm not perfect. I'm a flawed, sinful person. There are days that I don't serve my husband well, or when I just want to sit and laugh and watch that dumb movie I shouldn't be watching. But I pray, oh I pray, for the Holy Spirit to convict me. Not just for the easy things, but for the hard things too.

So, stand firm. Don't tiptoe that line.

(As Christians we believe the Bible- all of it- to be true. So this is proof enough to me to believe like I do: Genesis 2:22-24, Psalm 139:13-16, Matthew 5:32, Proverbs 22:6, 2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Peter 5:8, Hebrews 13:4, Matthew 18:6-7)

Aday & Toomers on the Plains.

First off, forgive me for a picture overload.
We headed to Auburn on Friday when Matthew got off work for Auburn's Aday game and the final roll for the original oaks at Toomer's Corner! They decided to have a big blow out for the last roll, and a lot of people came to celebrate! It was Auburn's largest ever Aday game, and I'm pretty sure there were more people there than most of the games last fall! Over 83,000 to be exact.

Friday night we enjoyed a yummy dinner at Mammaws with Liz and Donnie! Later we headed to Grandmother and Grandaddys and hit the sack! Saturday me and Liz went for a jog before getting ready! After we got dressed up in our orange and blue we headed for lunch with gmother and gdaddy!

After lunch, us three with Elizabeth headed for Jordan-Hare! We were so excited for Cameron to have his first visit there! It was so crowded. The lines were so long! Thankfully Cameron was sleeping in the stroller so we didn't mind the wait! When we finally got in we met up with Jeanna, Eric, and Kenda! Cameron was happy to see his bud Jeanna! :)

After waking from his nap too early he was a little cranky and sleepy, but still taking in all the wonderful sites and sounds of Auburn!

I was so happy to see Paige, even if it was just for a few minutes!!

Cam meeting daddy's friend!

Toomer's Corner:

After the game we headed to Toomer's Corner to see the original oaks one last time! We stayed back a little since we were strollering :)

Cameron overall did great on the trip, especially considering the short naps he had!! I can't wait to take him to a real Auburn game in the fall! War Eagle!!!
