Easter 2013.

We got to celebrate Cameron's first Easter a few weeks ago. Besides our Savior conquering the grave (Hallelujah!) my favorite part of Easter is getting to wear a special outfit for church! Cameron's Cece bought his outfit! I must admit that I thought he looked mighty handsome!

We decided to not go all out on an Easter basket this year. I figured we might as well wait till he can really enjoy it and be excited about it. Of course his Gigi and GreatGrandmother and Grandaddy did get him a little something!

After church we headed to Nan and Daddy Butch's house for an Easter lunch with the Watford/Palmer family. Of course all the ladies wanted to get their hands on our little man when we got there!

We had a great first Easter as a family of three! Little man did such a great job going with the flow!

And of course I had to take a few fun pictures of Cam! He wasn't too sure about being in a bucket of eggs! (And daddy didn't like it at all!) He's the cutest! :)

We were happy to have Gigi and Aunt Liz stop by and see us!

Trip to Milton, Florida.

Cameron and I were lucky enough to catch a ride down to Florida with my mom & dad with Liz to visit Blake, Katherine, and Caroline last week. Just so happened it was spring break so Wade, Amy, and Tatum were there too :) Sad we were missing our Matthew but still lots of fun!

Cameron loved getting to spend some quality time with the famjam! (Gave us a great little sneak peek of our family vaca coming up this summer!)

Pappy does his crazy eye's while Cameron refuses to participate! We had some preEaster fun with Caroline and Tatum's bunny ears!

Cameron had his first time in the exersaucer. I think it's safe to say he loved it! Katherine made him smile a lot :)

We enjoyed some yummy food while there. Lots of seafood and even some Mexican, bbq, and brunch food! Yum! Cameron was happy it was warm enough to wear his spring time outfits!

We did something we had never done before... all of us, the whole fam went out for some exercise. Dad and Liz are old pro's and Katherine is doing the couch to 10k and me and mom are doing the couch to 5k. Thankfully we had Blake, Wade, and Amy to push the 3 babies in the stroller. It was fun to get fit together! We are all doing the Cotton Row Run on Memorial day! 

Before we headed out we had to take a trip over to the beach. This is the first time Cameron has seen the ocean... or the sand or anything of the sort. We will save the sand play and getting in the water for July :)

It was a really fun trip, just wish Matthew could have come along!! We were happy to get home to see him!

Cameron: Three Months.

{Your new thing is eating your fist. You are all about it!}

Stats: Unfortunately we didn't get his height or weight this month because we didn't have a doctors appointment and our scale at home broke! In my opinion you have gained some weight and stretched out. You seem so long to me! 
Size 1 diapers, 3 months clothes.

Firsts: First time to visit Samford Hall and Toomer's Corner in Auburn, first time meeting Gigi in Cullman

Milestones: Significantly stronger in holding up your head. Talking to us a lot with your cute little coo's!

Food & Sleep: Still eating and sleeping like a champ. Eating every three hours. Playing for an hour and a half after eating, then sleeping for an hour and a half before eating again. Sleeping wonderfully at night, usually a solid 8 hours- not waking up any!

Our days: We are still just going with the flow. You are still doing great at tagging along with whatever I need to do or get done! Went through a little phase where it was hard to take you anywhere when you were sleepy because you didn't want to sleep in your carseat! But thankfully it seem's you have gotten over that! You are doing wonderful in the church nursery and whenever Cece and Pops keeps you. Thankful for your sweet little "go with the flow" spirit! 

Favorites: Mommy loves when you sleep in her arms (seems to be less and less often!)! Daddy loves when you smile at him when he comes home from work!

Nicknames: Cam, CamMan, Little Man, BuggaBoo (That's just from me... your dad is not a fan!)

We've had such a fun month with our sweet little boy. We can't believe how much he has grown and learned more things! He's fun to watch, hold, play with, and especially snuggle. He's such a happy and content baby. Simply wonderful- can't imagine life without him. 

Friday's Favorite Five.

Getting back to a Friday post routine :)
And now some Friday happiness!

1. We had so much fun at Parker's first birthday party! It was Cameron's first birthday party to attend and we had a blast thinking about planning Cam's next December! I've already got plenty of ideas and may have started a "secret" Pinterest board!

2. Our little baby turned 2 months on Tuesday! Time is flying by and I can't believe that it is already March and our baby is so old. He's getting more and more attentive and fun every day! Loving every moment- even at 5 am!

3. Sweet boy got his first round of shots this week. It was super painful and sad to watch his pitiful self. So, the happy about this?! The compassion that I had for him just showed me just how much I truly love our little guy. I'm overflowing with love for my baby. That whole day I did whatever he wanted! He has my heart. {Please note what a chunker he looks like in that pic! Love it!}

4. This week is GIC at Shades. {Global Impact Celebration!} I love getting to show the missionaries our support and hearing their stories. It definitely revamps my enthhsiasim, which is needed in our crazy day to day life.

5. Double Chocolaty Chip Frap. Every once in a while a momma needs to treat herself. Thankfully I had a giftcard, which made it all the more sweet.

Cameron: Two Months.

Stats: 11 lb. 11 oz. weight. 23 inches long. 15 1/4 inches head circumference. In the 50th percentile in all three categories!
Size 1 diapers, 0-3 months clothes.

Firsts: First trip to Auburn, first Valentine's Day, first birthday party, first trip to daddy's work, 

Milestones: Rolling over: Mommy left you on her bed on your tummy napping and later heard you crying... Came back upstairs to find you on your back! (You must have been very angry to throw yourself over like that (; We were excited!) Getting better with your head control! 

Food & Sleep: You are such a good eater and sleeper. For most of this past month you were on a strict every two hour eating schedule and then a 6 hour stretch at night. This past week you have been incredible stretching to 3 hours in the day and going sometimes 7 hours at night! You have been sleeping a lot until the last few days. We have been fighting daytime naps, but we are so thankful you are continuing to sleep well at night! 

Our days: We pretty much go with the flow of the day. You sleep well in your carseat and in the car so for now you are pretty easy going! (I'm so thankful for that!) Right now you are fighting naps so I'm trying to have you home by one for a good nap in your crib!

I really cannot believe how much my love for you has grown. I didn't think it was possible. But my heart literally wanted to jump on to the table when you were getting your two month shots! As I drove home from the doctor I really couldn't get over the love I was feeling for you. I love you my CamMan. Every moment... feeding you, making you smile, picking you up when you're crying, snuggling in my bed in the morning, running errands, going on walks, showing you off, everything.
