Rylin: Eleven months.

No official stats this month... but you eat so much you must be gaining weight.
Size 2 or 3 diapers and 12 months clothes (& 9 months here and there).

Firsts: First library story time (at Nolensville library), first trip to the zoo (sweet friends, the Cochrans and Olivers gave you a year pass for your birthday)

Milestones: Crawling faster and faster. Can feed yourself with a fork or spoon when I hand it to you. Its hard to keep up but you now have 6 teeth.

Food: Nursing 4 times a day, 3 meals, and 2 snacks typically. You are such a hungry, hungry hippo. You will eat just about anything, except broccoli! Very rarely do you refuse food, because you are full, so when you do I know you are super full and happy!

Sleep: Continuing with the good sleep and early mornings. Basically the same as last month, except sometimes now you want your naps even earlier like 8:30... just completely depends on the day. You are finally stretching your afternoon naps to 2-3 hours and mommy is so thankful. Usually you wake up just before Cameron in the afternoon.

Our days: Same ole stuff. Lots of sleeping, nursing, eating, and playing. You love to crawl around upstairs and play with all the toys by yourself. You are such a big girl.

Favorites: Mommy loves seeing you crawl super fast, and daddy loves watching you cruise and getting ready to walk!

Rylin, we absolutely cannot believe that we are already to month 11!! How can it be? Time has truly flown by, and I like to think its because we have been having so much fun! You are typically such a joy to have around (you kind of have this love/hate relationship with your carseat that we are ready for you to get over!). It's so awesome to see you and Cameron playing together and enjoying each other.. its such a treat! We love you so so much and can't wait to see you blossom into a little toddler!

Cameron: 2 YEARS.

Goodness, goodness... I can't believe my baby boy is TWO.

He has changed so so much in the past year. So many new words, new friends, new abilities, and even new personalities.

Cameron, this year you got to grow into a toddler. Not only that, but you also became a big brother. What a big year. We are so proud of the sweet, funny, loud BOY you have become. You are all boy. You play hard and you love hard. We are pretty sure you are partial to your sister over mommy and daddy but we don't mind. Rylin adores you and loves watching you play. So keep it up.
I absolutely cannot get over the change you have been through this year physically. You were such a little baby a year ago and you are so not anymore. Just a sweet big kid. You can catch, kick, jump, run, and climb! You are a master climber.
Mentally you have changed so much as well. You are saying just about anything you want and putting together plenty of phrases too. Sometimes I listen to you talk and am just in awe of how we can now communicate, and how we will be communicating soon. I love hearing what's on your mind. So keep that coming.

Your two year old stats are 28 pounds 3 ounces (50-75%) and 33 inches (25%). Growing like a weed.
You are a good eater and sleeper typically. We are so thankful for that. You still take one nap around 1-4 everyday.

Basically if I didn't say it clear enough.. you are a great kid that we love with all that is in us. We can't wait to see what fun this year brings!
LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU.

Rylin: Ten months.

No official stats this month
Size 2 diapers and 9-12 months clothes.

Firsts: First trip to the beach and getting in the sand, you didn't love the sand... but you did enjoy the vacation! First Easter and attending the Egg Roll in Providence in Huntsville.

Milestones: You sit up, pull up, stand up, anything UP right now, all by yourself. You are miss independent and just having fun. You are a crawling girl! You love to just go all by yourself!

Food: Nursing about 4 times a day, eating about 3 meals. You love to eat.

Sleep: About the same as last month. Sleeping through the night from about 7 to 6-6:30. Mommy wishes you would sleep a little longer. You nap once in the morning around 9, for maybe an hour and a half. Then you nap again around 1:30. Pretty happy with how all this sleeping is going.

Our days: This never really changes. You wake up nurse and eat breakfast a little while after that. Play and then nap and nurse again. Play and eat lunch and then nap again. Nurse when you wake up, play and dinner and play some more till bedtime :)

Favorites: Mommy and daddy love to see you get more and more mobile.

Oh girl, we love you and your sweet self so so much. You are just the perfect addition to our family. So thankful for you and your crazy self. Brother loves you lots too!

Rylin: Nine months.

Stats: 16 lbs 11 oz (5-10%), 27 inches (25%)
Size 2 diapers and 9 months clothes.

Firsts: First formula bottle (took it like a champ!), first time spending the night away from mom & dad (with pops & cece!), first chicken nugget!

Milestones: Clapping, sat up in your crib (just once!), and you pulled up on the coffee table by yourself.

Food: Nursing 4-5 times a day and eating 3 solid meals. By the end of the month you started LOVING finger foods rather than baby foods. So I've been trying to get a good mix of both right now. Keep on not being picky little missy!

Sleep: You are finally starting to (what I call) sleep through the night! You are usually going to sleep at 7 and I don't feed you again till around 6:45 or 7... now that doesn't mean you don't cry out or cry... but you are pretty good at handling all that business on your own. :) So thankful for that! You are taking a nap around 10 and then another one around 2. You typically take two hours each time... but when you have a cold or anything you can't sleep well. It's rough!

Our days: Pretty much the same as last month! Just love watching you get more and more independent!

Favorites: Mommy loves seeing you and your brother play! Daddy loves watching you stand up to play, like at the train table!

Little missy, we are so in love with your sweet smile and wonderful giggles... this past month you are just wanting to walk and go and play and do.. which is hard for a 9 month old that can't crawl or walk! ha! You are discontent you just really really like to be in the action. We are excited for your next milestones and seeing you get mobile and get in the action! We love you sweets!

Rylin: Eight months.

Stats: No official stats.
Size 2 diapers and mostly 9 months clothes.

Firsts: First Christmas and Christmas celebrations (workout friends party and family dinner at our house!), first time going to visit our Mimmie in Montgomery, first time celebrating Cameron's birthday, first big girl birthday parties (Avery and Madeline!)

Milestones: Nothing significant I can recall... just figuring things out!

Food: Nursing about every 4 hours and eating 3 "meals" consistently. I tried so hard to not do all three until you were 9 months but you are just such a hungry monster I just had to give in! Started giving you some puffs and some soft veggies cut real small! You love it!

Sleep: Sleeping pretty well, can't really complain. You typically sleep from 7-5 at night and I feed you and lay you back down and you sleep till around 7 or 7:30. You nap again around 9:30 for about two hours and then I typically try to keep you up till 2 for your afternoon nap. That nap is very random on length... so ready for you to consistently take a longer afternoon nap! :) Very thankful for most of your sleeping habits though!

Our days: We typically just spend time playing or run errands in the morning, eat lunch around noon and start winding down for naptime after that. By the time you and Cameron are up we are getting ready for daddy to get home for work! We play some more before and after dinner. Lots of chill fun happening around here!

Favorites: Mommy and daddy love that you are starting to want to stand and work on cruising!

Rylin: Seven months.

Stats: Nothing official this month.
Size 2 diapers and 6 or 6-9 months clothes.

Firsts: First "stay home from church" sickness, first time riding in the shopping cart sitting in the big kid seat with big bro, first Thanksgiving, first black Friday shopping, first Iron Bowl (we lost!), first Christmas party at our house!

Milestones: Sitting up!! 2 first teeth! (both on the bottom!) Basically you are just so old. So much opinion and personality!

Food: Right now we are doing baby food once in the morning and once in the evening. Besides that you are continuing to nurse every 3-4 hours. Usually eating for about 10 minutes!

Sleep: You've had a pretty good stretch of sleep here lately. We continue to put you down around 7 and you will sleep til about 6am and I will feed you and lay you back down. Naps are still a struggle and I imagine that is just because you are baby #2! We can't seem to keep things consistent enough to figure it all out. But when I do put you down you typically will sleep at least an hour and a half!

Our days: Here lately we have been keeping it pretty easy going... You get out of bed around 7:30 and I nurse you and then we play till about 9 and you eat some breakfast. After a bit you usually go down for a nap and then we pretty much repeat the cycle again when you wake up. :) After your next nap is usually when you are up the longest... watching me cook dinner, playing with toys, and of course watching your big bro!

Favorites: Mommy and daddy are loving you being able to sit up!

Oh pretty girl, how can these days be going by so quickly. Can't believe you are 7 months and getting ready to celebrate your first Christmas. You are so adorable and so fun. You are getting more and more opinionated, so this momma has to stay on her toes between that and big brother who is almost 2! We are so so thankful for your sweet self and can't wait to see all that you become! We love you pretty girl :)

Favorite 10 of 2015.

Favorite 10 of 2013.
I know I say this every year I post a favorite 10... but really, what a blessed, blessed year it has been. The Lord has been good and is so faithful in all that we do and accomplish! Thankful for that!!

#10. Gatlinburg mini vacation.
We had such a blast taking our little family to Gatlinburg just for a night. We've never done anything vacation like with just our little family (and definitely not as a family of 4). So we really enjoyed this special time together even if it just involved Redneck downtown Gatlinburg, shopping, eating, and a little time by the pool!

#9. Auburn football.
This is just always on my list. Our family loves loves all things Auburn, not just the football... so that makes it extra special when we get to head to our favorite city, with two cute babies in tow, for the weekend. There's not much better than a Saturday filled with tailgating and then a warm evening in Jordan Hare watching our Tigers!

#8. Thanksgiving on the farm.
We had the extra treat of celebrating Thanksgiving with our Watford family on the (Scott) Palmer farm. The kids loved the open spaces and animals. The hay ride was a personal fave. If it would have been a tiny bit warmer it would have been perfect.

#7. Mammaw's wedding.
Our dearest 78 year old Mammaw got married to her love, Bob Smith, mid July. We were so happy to celebrate our Mammaw being so happy! They are one of the most active 75+ couples I know. Lots of nights out for shows and dinners. We so enjoyed having all of the Thaxton fam together!

#6. New family.
This year we got to add more family! Every year it just keeps getting better and better. Sweet Sullivan James joined Blake, Katherine, & Caroline in Florida in early September! He is just the perfect addition and we loved meeting him this fall and getting to know him at Christmas. Another sweet baby, Ellie Palmer, joined Brandon, Meaghan, & Tucker in Ohio in late September. She is just the cutest and a really perfect little cousin for Cameron and Rylin.

#5. Family moves to Nashville.
One big highlight this year, obvious since its #4 huh?!, is having family in Nashville with us! We love love having both Curtis families in town. Kendrick, Kathy, Margaret, and Madeline literally live a couple miles down the road. And Dustin, April, and Emmaline came in May (even stayed at our house for a week or two) and live fairly close in Smyrna!

#4. Cameron turned 2.
I don't know how it is possible that our first child is two. He is a joy to have around, although I see those terrible two's come out to play every once and awhile. He loves all things transportation: trains, planes, cars, and trucks! He's so silly and is typically very sweet to his little sister. We skipped out on a party this year but enjoyed spending time with family around the holidays to celebrate.

#3. Homeowners.
We became real grown ups in February and bought our first home. To say we have enjoyed it would be an understatement. It truly has made Nashville home for us.

#2. Third anniversary.
We made it to number 3. I can't even begin to describe what this marriage and this man means to me. He holds it all together for me. He handles my craziness like a pro! The first three years is just a teeny tiny glimpse of what is to come for us. We look forward in anticipation.

#1. Rylin Elaine Watford.
On May 12th our life changed for the better. Our sweet little first girl, Rylin Elaine, joined our family... making us a happy little family of four. She's just the sweetest.

Rylin: Six months.

Stats: 14 lbs. 10 oz. (25%) 25 3/4 in (50%)
Size 2 diapers and 6 months clothes.

Firsts: First trip to a pumpkin farm, first time to the train depot in Huntsville, first Thaxton tailgate in Auburn, first Halloween- you dressed up as a mouse and Cameron was your cheese, dedicated at Brentwood Baptist Church, first time to Cincinnati- and Tucker's birthday party, first time eating solids (hardly any) and using a sippy cup!

Milestones: Gaining trunk control getting close to sitting up. Grasping at everything and putting it all straight into your mouth. Trying food for the first time!

Food: You are still nursing about the same. I try to stretch you to around 3 1/2 or 4 hours but you mostly prefer 3 hours so I go with that! You are quick and efficient so that is great! We just started solids and you couldn't care less. I'm sure you will get better as we keep trying!

Sleep: You still love your sleep. On good days you wake up around 8, nap around 9:30-11:00, wake, nap around 1-2:30, wake, nap around 4-5, wake, and bedtime at 7. (I think you are moving your wake up time to earlier though... 7:30ish). You still wake up sometime between 4-6am to nurse. I'm so ready to drop that feeding!

Our days: Same for our days as last month. We still are not on a constant schedule since we don't have planned activities. We typically meet up with friends once or twice a week! But besides that we are just playing at home!

Favorites: Mommy is loving how old you are acting- reacting to us and Cameron! Daddy is loving that you are almost sitting up!

Rylin: Five months.

{convos with ballerina hippo!}

Stats: Nothing official.
Size 2 diapers and 3 and 6 months clothes.

Firsts: First time to Wednesday night church, first new baby girl cousin {Ellie}, first trip to the circus.

Milestones: There really aren't too many new things going on. You continue to roll all the time and lift that head super high. Your hand coordination is getting better and better. Sometimes you can find your paci and put it in. You love to grab at anything and put it in your mouth! You are also so much more interactive these days... you interact with Cameron by smiling, laughing, and grabbing. Cameron LOVES it, we are enjoying it too :)

Food: You are just the best nurser. This nursing experience has been so much more pleasant then what went down with the CamMan- thanks for that :) You nurse around 10 minutes every 3 to 3.5 hours (every once in a while 4!). You still have great stretches at night about 7-5!

Sleep: You LOVE and need your sleep. You have a morning and afternoon nap but really don't care for an evening nap even though you are a little fussy and tired. We usually just have some fun holding you time from about 6 till 7 when you get in bed! We've decided its time to stop swaddling you. We tried earlier in the month and it didn't go so well so we started swaddling you again... but then you started rolling over some in bed so no more swaddle. You have done awesome the past few nights!

Our days: Same, same for your days right now. We've had to stop working out (because they changed locations) so now you get more consistent morning naps! But basically we are just chugging through and trying to have lots of fun along the way!

Favorites: Mommy loves that you are getting so interactive with Cameron. Daddy is loving that you are rolling around so much!

You are just the sweetest things. Sweetest baby, daughter, and sister. We can't get enough of your sweet smile, silly squeal, and foot sucking-self. Love you!!

Cameron: 21 months.

Our crazy ball of energy is 21 months... somehow. I'm kinda in disbelief that my sweet boy is only 3 short months away from being 2. It's a crazy thought.

Cameron is just the happiest, most energetic, outside loving boy. He keeps our little family entertained to say the least. He is a chatter box. As the months go by he continues to add words to his vocabulary and does such a good job of copying words we say. He's also added jibberjabbing a whole lot. He will just start talking and we have no idea what he says. It sounds like it might be annoying but it really is pretty cute. Cameron is doing a great job working on his motor skills. He will follow commands like jump, touch your toes, stomp, touch your head, run around! It's really fun and great exercise! He also has been getting some great exercise by getting out of the stroller after our run and running (with little walking) back to our house. Some nights he goes almost a whole mile. All of that reminds me that this child LOVES to be outside. He's always looking out the window, getting everyone's shoes, or trying to open the door and just get outside. (Which he sometimes just opens... we have to make sure we lock it now so he doesn't escape!) Besides being outside Cameron recently has a passion for all things transportation. He just loves cars, trucks, trains, and airplanes! He loves playing with his hot wheels (and tractors, trucks and other cars), looking and listening for airplanes and helicopters, seeing the trains at Cheekwood, and alerting us of all the trucks on the road! It's so fun and I love him having "a thing!"

Cameron currently is wearing 18-24 month clothes and is in size 4 diapers! We just moved him in size 5 shoe (5.5W keds)! He usually wakes by 7 and naps at 1. From nap he will sleep till 3 atleast and then go down for bed around 7:30! Of course Cameron is great to go with the flow if needed too! He sometimes eat so great and is hardly picky at all. And then some other times he won't eat anything we offer. Cam loves to snack and just loves eating in general. He still drinks a cup of milk with each meal and typically has a morning and afternoon snack. Of course he still love fruit the most!

Besides being a fun, sweet boy... Cameron is a great big brother. He loves little Rylin more than I ever imagined he would. He loves to give her kisses, hold her, give her paci's, and share his toys! I love it when he lays down on her playmat with her! (Until he tries to roll on top of her! Eck!!)

We love you CamMan and we aren't sure what we would do without you. You keep us on our toes and are so much fun! You are the perfect fit for our family. Keep growing strong and sweet!

Rylin: Four months.

Stats: 13 lbs 8 oz (50%) 24.25 inches (~75%)
Size 2 diapers and 3-6 months clothes.

Firsts: First time to Southside Baptist in Huntsville, first funeral (Great-great-grandfather, Pop), first Auburn gameday and tailgate, first time being an older cousin (baby Sullivan was born!), first picnic (with daddy's work)

Milestones: You found your toesies this month. You love to grab them, look at them, and play with them! You also starting rolling over... you started rolling from your back to your stomach first (strong girl!). When we lay you down you almost immediately roll over!

Food: You are still eating great! You nurse for about 10-15 minutes every 3-4 hours and stretch like 10 hours at night (7pm-5am)

Sleep: We continue to know if you are getting crazy and fussy it's usually because you are tired. We still swaddle you and it helps you sleep so great (getting anxiety about stopping this!). You nap pretty well usually and do okay at night. We typically have to come put a paci in once or twice. You still enjoy snoozing in your swing quite a bit!

Our days: These days you are waking up pretty early... around 7. Depending on when I fed you that night you will eat or wait a bit before eating. Days we stay home you go down for a nap around 9 and may nap for about 2 hours. Will eat again after napping before playing and hanging out before an afternoon nap (when I put you and Cameron down and get a break!) at 1. This nap has varied sometimes lasting 1 1/2 hours and other times like 3 hours. So that effects the rest of the evening. Typically you will eat and play and then take like a 30 minute nap at about 5:30 before eating again and bedtime at 7.

Favorites: Mommy loves having a sweet girl to dress up so cute (and buy clothes for!). Daddy is loving that you can roll over!

Thanks for being our sweet baby girl! You are dearly loved by all three of us! Keep growing strong and being smiley!

Rylin: Three months.

Stats: No official stats this month. I weighed you at 13 lbs 4 oz... but who knows how accurate that is.
Size 1 diapers and 3 months clothes.

Firsts: First round of shots at your 2 month appointment :( first time sleeping in your crib for night time sleep, first time going to watch daddy play basketball in the men's league, first time to visit a fire station with workout friends, first time to Firebirds for mom & dad's date night, first time to KY for the PGA Championship & in a tow truck on the way home because we had some car troubles about an hour and a half from home- you were amazing and did so great the whole day and drive home!!

Milestones: Your neck is getting so strong. One night I laid you on your belly and that head just popped right up! You also have a little "giggle" you do when we tickle you... you are so ticklish! I think you could roll over if you wanted to, but you don't have a desire yet! You can also now sit in your bumbo! (I look at pictures of Cam and he didn't have quite as much head control as you do!) Sitting up position is your favorite! You have found your hands and love to eat them!!

Food: You are continuing to eat like a champ. Here recently you are only eating approximately 10 min total for a feeding. I love it, so if you are gaining weight and are happy I'm all for it! We rarely hear your "hungry roar" because you are so easy going. Every once and awhile you have to remind me it's time to eat!

Sleep: You are a pro. You love your sleep. If you are the least bit fussy I usually figure out you are really just sleepy. I swaddle you up, give you your paci and you are out in a matter of minutes! It's been getting slightly harder to get you asleep in your carseat (in the car or stroller). If we are moving it's usually quicker for sure. Although we support the crying it out method... that doesn't exist for you. If you are crying you just want a paci because it fell out. You are wonderful at falling asleep and also at sleeping!!

Our days: This momma's working hard to get you "scheduled" and predictable. We've worded at it hard this month and you are doing wonderful. You usually wake up around 7:30 and eat/play, back asleep around 9, up eating again around 10:30 (sometimes shorter than that!), napping again around 1 for a bit of a longer nap. Wake up again around 3 or 3:30 and eat. We usually head outside to play after that and you will snooze again, usually downstairs in the swing, around 5:30 or 6. Eat and play before bed by 8. I don't stress about this flexible schedule a bit. You are so go with the flow we can keep up with our normal routine (working out, church, lunch with daddy... and stuff like that).

Favorites: Mommy loves getting your loud squeals and giggles out of you from tickles. Daddy is loving that you are getting strong and being able to sit up (supported!) and in the bumbo!

Rylin, we continue to love and enjoy you more and more everyday... even though we didn't think that was possible. You are an amazing baby and we are so thankful for that! Praying that you won't have the 4 month reversion for sleep like your older brother! :) Keep growing strong and getting more fun! We love you sweet girl!
